This natural wood gallery frame is an artist favorite. The deep profile adds a sense of drama.
The classic, solid-wood frame features a decorative beaded detail inspired by the time-honored Bobbin design technique. Hand-leafed in Italy by expert artisans, the sleek metallic-silver finish is gently distressed for a rich, layered look.

Our thin white frame is a true customer favorite. This one looks great in any space.
This modern black frame looks great with pretty much everything, and it’s thin, gallery profile makes it perfect for small places.
This gold bamboo frame can read as traditional or mid-century, and either way it's a winner.
Annapolis artist, Kim Hovell, is perhaps best known for her Oyster paintings. She is endlessly inspired by the many contrasting facets of the oyster. A rough strewn outer shell giving way to a smooth, iridescent inner. Oysters are local product found all over the globe. Like a fine wine, the taste of an oyster is intrinsically tied to the waters it breathed. This collection showcases the unique and beautiful shell of the oyster through paint layering and mixed media thereby capturing the wide spectrum of colors and textures. Each painting uses a range of pearly whites, deep blues, greens, browns, purples, beiges, grays and browns.
All art ships completely free to locations within the U.S.
Fine art is a print + frame-to-order item and typically ships out in 5 to 7 business days.
Our framing partner uses the best materials in the industry like wood mouldings, acrylic glazing with UV protection, and acid-free mats.

We stumbled upon Kim showing her work at the Annapolis Summer Art Festival and were instantly enamored with her oyster paintings. Kim is a free spirit with extreme talent, but her humility and authentic kindness make you forget you are in the presence someone so gifted. Kim’s paintings are graceful and fluid, they poetically combine dozens of colors to create soft neutrals that coordinate in any room.
